No matter how stressed you are, grounding yourself in the present will help you calm your mind now, and you will find some peace and joy in that which simply is. Once you’re calm and resolved, you will be able to tackle your problem with a clear head, and you will be much more likely to find a solution.
Remember, the things you want in life already exist around you, but when your mind is stressed, it will not be able to notice these things. You have the means to achieve all your goals; all you need to do is keep a calm mind, and you will be able to solve even the most difficult problems.
Think of a problem you are dealing with right now. Write it down.
Now clear your mind of it and do the following:
Feel your breath moving in and out of your lungs; feel the breeze on your skin; feel your heart beating, your eyes seeing, and your ears hearing. Pay attention to all the little things happening around you and stay in the present moment. Breathe.
Now go back to your problem. With your clearer state of mind, what new solutions to your problem come to mind?
Write them down.
Repeat this daily for at least 20 days to gain powerful habitual skills with your problem solving.
