Make meetings effective.
In most cases, meetings are too long and not effective enough. Most successful people either avoid them or try to make them as effective as possible by spending a minimum amount of time on them.
The most important thing is to always require a clear agenda and purpose for the meeting.

Clearly state the purpose of the meeting
Clearly state the facilitator
Identify all invited parties
List the agenda topics
Estimate how much time is needed for each agenda topic
