Use the "Goal Setting to the Now" approach.

Using the Goal Setting to the Now approach will help you set a clear timeline for you to achieve your end goal (i.e., your Someday Goal). It’s similar to the domino effect: what you do right now will help you achieve what you want tomorrow; what you do tomorrow will help you achieve what you want next week; and so on, until you have achieved your Someday Goal.

Detailed steps for this principle are only available in the app.

  1. Identify your Someday Goal.
This refers to the ONE Thing you want to do someday. Write it down.

  2. Identify your Five-Year Goal.
This refers to the ONE Thing you can do in the next five years to help you achieve your Someday Goal. Write it down.

  3. Identify your One-Year Goal.
This refers to the ONE Thing you can do this year to help you achieve your Five-Year Goal. Write it down.

  4. Identify your Monthly Goal.
This refers to the ONE Thing you can do this month to help you achieve your One-Year Goal. Write it down.

  5. Identify your Weekly Goal.
This refers to the ONE Thing you can do this week to help you achieve your Monthly Goal. Write it down.

  6. Identify your Daily Goal.
This refers to the ONE Thing you can do today to help you achieve your Weekly Goal. Write it down.

  7. What is the ONE Thing you can do right now?
Identify the ONE Thing you can do right now to help you achieve your Daily Goal, then do it. Write it down.
