When working on projects, it is perfectly natural to feel negative emotions. However, these emotions are counterproductive to your goals, so they must be eliminated and replaced with positive emotions so you can achieve your goals.
Resolve situations that cause you to feel negative emotions so you can sidestep these emotions entirely and focus on your work.
Identify the source of your negative emotions.
Why do you feel negative emotions of frustration, disgust, overwhelmingness, panic, and fatigue? These emotions may arise from broken agreements with yourself; for example, you may not have completed a task on time.
Resolve the situation.
For example, if your negative emotions have arisen from a broken agreement with yourself, don’t make the agreement in the first place, complete the agreement, or renegotiate the agreement.
