Set your goals.

Now that you know what you want, and you are committed to achieving it, you will shift your brain into a state of absolute certainty that your goal will be achieved. Soon enough, it will!

  1. Write down all the things you want according to the areas of your life that they correspond to.
    Give yourself a set amount of time (at least five minutes) to sit down and brainstorm. Write it all down—don’t think about how you are going to achieve these goals just yet. Organize these goals into the different areas of your life that they correspond to—is it a personal development goal, a financial goal, an adventure goal, etc.?

  2. Give yourself a timeline for each goal.
    How long before you plan on achieving said goal? Write it down beside each goal in your list.

  3. Prioritize your goals.
    Organize the goals according to importance. Then, look at the most important goal you want to achieve within one year. Write down a paragraph about why you are absolutely committed to achieving this goal within one year. Read this paragraph whenever your motivation threatens to dissipate.

  4. Sensitize your brain toward achieving this goal.
    Condition yourself in advance to feel the pleasure that achieving this goal will bring. At least twice a day, rehearse and emotionally enjoy the experience of achieving this goal.

  5. Stay committed.
    Determination is the single most important thing when it comes to success. You must stay determined and committed to achieving your goal—entertain no other possibility. Don’t make excuses either; focus only on success.
