Most animal-based foods (meat and dairy) contain pollutants. These pollutants can trigger Parkinson’s disease by mutating your DNA and increasing your susceptibility to the disease.
Berries have been linked with being able to counter the negative effect of these pollutants and pesticides, thereby decreasing the risk of developing Parkinson’s disease.
Nicotine-rich vegetables have also been associated with decreasing the risk of developing Parkinson’s disease.
Be wary of pollutants in food.
Poultry and tuna have been found to contain arsenic. Dairy products have been found to contain lead. Seafood has been found to contain mercury. Meats (particularly fish) have been found to contain pesticides, PFCs, and other such pollutants.
Eat more berries.
Specifically, eat more blueberries and strawberries.
Eat more nightshade vegetables.
Nightshade vegetables such as bell peppers contain nicotine, which decreases your risk of developing Parkinson’s disease.
